Manages the creation and implementation of marketing strategy and communication plans for Stanford Health Care, including the hospitals, complex care service lines, faculty members, outpatient facilities, ancillary services and the physician foundation. Collaborates with administrative and program staff to develop appropriate materials and tactics that support the strategic marketing objectives of the system. Assists Marketing Strategy Directors and Leads in setting the priorities on the best utilization of marketing resources. Leads project tracking from project intake through completion. Writes and edits marketing and communication materials, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and messaging. Implements lead generation programs. Works across digital, marcom, events, public relations, brand and advertising to ensure integrated program planning. Analyzes performance metrics and develops dashboards that report campaign effectiveness.
Manages the process of developing and executing measureable integrated marketing campaigns that support business objectives.
Leads industry and competitive research and insights for the Marketing Strategy Team.
Spearheads exploration of new and innovative marketing platforms. Recommends pilot programs and strategies for continued deployment.
Manages the SHC marketing/communication process of onboarding faculty and other physicians. Works directly with the Physicians, Business Development Directors and Physician Liasons to craft content for online and offline physician biography material – as well as manage online third party directories to ensure complete and correct content (Doximity, Healthgrades, Google Business Listings).
Plans, writes and/or edits, and produces marketing material for multiple channels (print, web site, social), based on key messaging and brand guidelines.
Strategizes deployment of HTML email campaigns, including: creating and uploading lists, building email templates and content, testing effectiveness, providing quality assurance, and optimizing best practices.
Plans and executes lead generation campaigns.
Analyzes marketing campaign data, maintains dashboard metrics of key success factors, optimizes campaigns with internal partners, and communicates key insights.
Consults with clients regarding projects to identify needs, objectives, and approaches. Ensures the business development goals are reflected in marketing strategies and prioritized accordingly.
Develops and maintains project reports and communicates with internal clients on progress, goals and measurements.
Serves as the focal point for sourcing information and resource management including budget planning and monitoring marketing dollars throughout the year.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with work in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.
A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience developing and executing marketing strategy and tactics, as well as developing tracking methods that measure program success. Experience in a health system. Agency experience a plus.
