Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services.

With cash the lifeblood of every company, so too, is a good understanding of how to manage these cashflows. Trade Finance, together with Cash Management, is the mainstay of GTS, and is extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs.
In Cash & Trade, you will be part of the product management team that provides seamless and cost-effective solutions to customers. Whether it is through conducting market research, or by enhancing a product or system's features to meet customers' needs, you will have every opportunity to shape the business. You will also be exposed to a myriad of Trade and Cash Management products through various marketing campaigns and joint visits with our relationship managers.
Overall responsibility for developing and managing GTS's global product marketing strategy and execution
Understand client needs and assess distribution options to determine optimal marketing mix
Creation and curation of clear and concise key messages for the GTS business to amplify awareness and consideration
Deliver an 'insight' led agenda working with Group Research and the Asian Insights team - moving away from the current 'product-push' approach
Management of paid media partnerships and cooperation with GSMC on GTS market messaging, interviews and press statements
Support lead generation, customer acquisition and utilisation through specific sales enablement initiatives to achieve greater share of wallet amongst priority segments
Oversee Award pitches and presentations and manage regional Polls
Analysis of competitor's marketing activities to undertake any strategic realignments required
Manage the GTS product marketing budget and ensure maximum ROI on activities
Line management responsibility for 3 marketing and communications resources
Partner with GSMC and IBG Marketing to ensure product marketing programmes are seamlessly executed in line with global brand standards and that proper measures are established to track effectiveness of all marketing deliverables
Content responsibility for internal business activities such as global townhalls, staff communications and internal product marketing activity, eg. Intranets, sales workbenches
Focus on key scorecard drivers, particularly related to Regional Businesses, Rebalancing geographic mix, Digital and Customer Journeys, and ensure product marketing programmes are always reinforcing the forward strategy of the Group.
9-10 years experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the financial services industry with a track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies and initiatives
Broad knowledge of transaction services products, specific knowledge in Cash Management and Supply Chain an advantage
Knowledge of product marketing practices proven to be effective/impactful in reaching and converting clients
Excellent writing skills
Comfortable in interfacing directly with external clients
Proven analytical capability
Ability to work towards tight deadline
Bachelors degree in marketing, communications or business
Financial Service industry certificates/training would be an advantage
