The Marketing Communications Specialist will be responsible for all agent projects and campaigns as assigned by their management within the IS business segment. The position requires a strong background in direct mail print production, including imaging (laser, Scitex, inkjet), printing (sheet fed and web), digital print on demand (POD) and lettershop services plus comprehensive knowledge of USPS regulations. Primary Responsibilities:
Manage the print / production of all agent campaigns and collateral working with cross-functional areas to ensure all aspects of program requirements are met
Create kit sheets to drive the print, personalization and letter shop process ensuring accuracy and quality
Ability to create, update and maintain documents in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and FileMaker Pro
Work within both internal and external systems to create, update and maintain files for POD and perform all UAT
Ability to implement marketing and regulatory changes throughout the process ensuring timeliness and accuracy
Provide postal expertise including postal presort, NCOA, CASS Certification and BMC / SCF to client to ensure all USPS specifications are met
Collaborate with team members and cross-functional areas to develop creative solutions to print and production issues
Obtain competitive bids through company on line procurement system Printellect, track expenditures and facilitate all related vendor purchase order and billing reconciliation
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal team, internal departments and outside vendors
Assist other team members in auditing and quality control of campaigns during peak times
Ability to work within a team environment, yet have accountability for own body of work
Maintain operating P&Ps and updating as necessary
Monitor and evaluate vendor performance through production quality reviews, vendor site visits and quarterly performance reviews
