Texas A&M University is seeking an accomplished professional for the position of Assistant Manager in Athletics Marketing.
The Assistant Manager is responsible for developing, proposing and implementing marketing plans for the purpose of encouraging increased attendance and enhancing the fan experience for select athletic programs. This includes designing and placing advertising materials, developing and directing promotions, managing gameday staff, and being the primary athletics marketing contact for the respective sport. Responsible for collaborating with Texas A&M Ventures (corporate sponsorships), 12th Man Foundation (donations & ticketing), 12th Man Productions (video), and other athletics support staff on a daily basis. Assist in managing a student staff of 20-25 individuals. Ability to work flexible hours (night, weekend & holidays) as required to complete assigned duties and event coverage.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Four years of marketing/promotions experience in a sports related/customer service environment.
