We are searching for a talented Marketing Manager to be based at Galleria at South Bay in Redondo Beach. This position oversees marketing operations in a less complex shopping center property, or supports the efforts with the Vice President, Marketing/Marketing Director in a complex shopping center property. This includes developing and executing the advertising, marketing, and public relations programs. The primary purpose of this position is to increase shopping center revenue.
•Assistant in creation and implement corporate approved annual strategic marketing plan for the shopping center property (ies). Marketing plans to be based on market research, industry trends, and program analysis. •In conjunction with the General Manager and Vice President, Marketing/Marketing Director, help to develop and solidify constructive working relationships with media, community figures, and local government entities to increase shopping center visibility. This includes hosting and attending community outreach, conducting surveys, and other relationship building activities. •Develop and solidify positive working relationships with retailers to encourage participation with shopping center initiatives to increase overall effectiveness. Strategically seeks out opportunities to increase income through events and services at the shopping center. Develop new promotional/event ideas on an on-going basis. •Contributes to the creation of shopping center's budget. Maximize NOI, control expenses and manage budget. Maintains current with industry factors such as category analysis, retail trends, local and regional economy, and other areas that would influence shopping center performance. •Manages social media accounts and shopping center website and ensures consistency and accuracy across platforms. •Prepares agreements for specialty leasing and sponsorship opportunities with third party interests. Manages on-site advertising and specialty leasing requests from existing tenants.
•This position requires an Undergraduate Degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline, 10 years experiance in lieu of degree. •3-4 years of required experience of progressively responsible experience in shopping center marketing or related discipline. Knowledge of advertising, marketing, and public relations gained through on-the-job training.
